The Heart of the Field
A hare moves through tall grasses and cow parsley, held within a wide, open landscape. Trees rise in quiet rhythm around him, while the field stretches out beyond — a place where everything gathers, and for a moment, holds still.
 
Carved by hand in bold black and white using the sgraffito technique, the scene unfolds in simple lines and pattern, inspired by Scandinavian folk art.
 
Made from white porcelain stoneware and individually finished, each piece is illustrated by hand. The story emerges as it is carved, so every scene is uniquely drawn.
 
Approx. 325 × 30 mm deep — my large platters are designed to be hung, with details to be discovered and scenes that I hope will gently draw you into a daydream.
