A Small Wild Escape
A hare stretches into motion across open fields, weaving through grasses and wildflowers that curve around the form of the jug. Above, the land rolls gently beneath a wide sky — a quiet moment of movement, caught mid-flight.
 
Formed from white earthenware clay and a soft grey slip, the surface holds a muted, atmospheric quality — like a passing glance across the landscape.
 
Carved using the sgraffito technique, fine lines and patterns bring the scene to life, wrapping it around the curve of the piece. The tree-shaped handle rises naturally from the form, echoing the hedgerow and sitting comfortably in the hand.
 
Individually made and finished, each jug carries its own subtle variations and character.
 
Approx. 155 mm tall — a functional piece with a small wild story to pour.
