A hare pauses at the edge of the wood, surrounded by grasses, seed heads, and the first shy violets peeping through the tangle. Beyond, the land stretches out under an open sky — but here, in this small corner, something softer is unfolding.
A moment of quiet noticing. Of small things, easily missed.
Hand-carved in bold black and white, the scene is created using the sgraffito technique, each line carefully etched to reveal the detail beneath. Inspired by hedgerows, woodland walks, and the quiet poetry of the British countryside, every plate is individually made in porcelain stoneware, giving each one its own subtle character.
Approx. 160mm x 30mm — a small plate, holding a fleeting glimpse of something quietly hopeful.
